Meet Tracey
New Paragraph
Hi, I’m Tracey, founder of Strong Foundations Physiotherapy, pelvic health physio, and busy mum of two.
I completed my Bachelor of Health Science (Physiotherapy) in New Zealand in 2012 and have always been passionate about women’s health, continence, and exercise. During my first pregnancy, I pursued further study and completed a Postgraduate Certificate in Clinical Physiotherapy (Continence and Women’s Health) through Curtin University.
I began my career at just 17 when I joined the Navy as a medic, serving on a frigate, a fuel tanker, and deploying to Afghanistan and East Timor. After leaving the military, I pursued physiotherapy, driven by a long standing passion for women’s health and continence care.
Over the years, I’ve worked across private practice, musculoskeletal rehabilitation, community health, aged care, neurology, and women’s health. These experiences have shown me that the true foundation for living a happy, fulfilled life is strength , physical, mental, and emotional. That belief inspired the name Strong Foundations Physiotherapy.
I’m passionate about helping people do the things that matter most to them, in ways that are safe, realistic, and empowering. No two people are the same, and neither are their goals, which is why I never take a cookie cutter approach. Every program is tailored to the individual, so together we can build the strong foundations needed to enjoy life to the fullest.
My approach is grounded in evidence based practice but delivered with real life understanding. I believe in holistic care, supporting mums physically, emotionally, and mentally as they navigate pregnancy, postpartum, and beyond. After becoming a mum myself, I started my own home-based clinic to provide flexible, accessible care for people in all life stage.
I’m also deeply passionate about supporting the ageing population, helping older adults stay strong, independent, and capable so they can enjoy a retirement filled with movement, meaning, and fun. Whether it's being able to walk the dog, travel, or simply enjoy everyday activities with confidence, I believe we should all train for the life we want to live now and in the future.
At the heart of my work is a simple belief: All people at whatever stage of life should be celebrated for their abilities and never held back by unnecessary restrictions. They deserve support, encouragement, and the right guidance. My goal is to provide exercise that is safe, realistic, and empowering, helping every person move with confidence and enjoy life to the fullest.
